We have defeated Covid-19 as a "One- Nation"

COVID-19 is the pandemic disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus that was originated in Wuhan, in China. As one nation, we have been able to defeat this pandemic virus because the Sri Lankan health sector saw this as more than a virus. So unlike the other countries, our government reacted rapidly with the help of the Health Sector and military in order to fight for this pandemic.

 I would like to say proudly as a Sri Lankan, our tiny little country in the Indian Ocean has been successful so far, compared to most countries in the world, in the fight against Covid-19. Health experts all around the world are using the Sri Lankan Health Care system and trying to overcome this crisis. 

 To overcome this pandemic, the Sri Lankan Health sector alongside the Sri Lankan Military did an amazing job. We all should salute them for the contribution they have done. 
They still working tirelessly without an interval, without seeing their family or children just because to defeat this pandemic and save our people from this crisis. 

 We have a big responsibility to obey the rules and regulations to end this Pandelic forever from our country. Even though we could have able to decrease the death rate as well as victims, still we haven't defeated this. So, it is our duty and responsibility to fight and remove this COVID-19 virus forever. 

 Finally, I would like to thank..... No, I would like to SALUTE  our Doctors, Nurses, Military Defence, Police, and all the people who contribute their services to overcome this Pandemic.
